Study Circles (back to top)
Study Circles are small collaborative groups who agree to meet to discuss political or social issues relating to their community. The aim of a program of Study Circles is to facilitate community-building through public dialogue and to involve people in networking and development their community. Study Circles tend to be a success because they transform the estrangement and powerlessness that foster a 'them and us' dichotomy within communities, and instead empower people to voice their concerns and create practical solutions. For more detailed information, go to our study circles page.
CREED -- Empowerment in Education (back to top)
CREED stands for Community Response and Empowerment for Education Development, a way to address the complex issues of public education in today's world. CREED focuses on improving communication and increasing involvement between administration, teachers, students and the community at large. To learn more about how applying an integrated program of training, discussion, ongoing feedback and information gathering, can benefit schools and communities, visit our CREED page.
Conflict Resolution Network (back to top)
In order to support individuals and organizations working in conflict resolution, CRC is interested in constructing a network to increase the awareness of and opportunities in conflict resolution. By becoming a member of the network, practitioners, teachers, students, organizers, activists and advocates would increase their skills, participate in new opportunities, and combine their efforts with others. The goals of the network include: expanding outreach to the general public, increasing educational programs and activities, sharing knowledge and skills, and generating new opportunities for members. To find out more about how you or your organization might become involved, contact CRC.
